Our customer basically had a web store with a shopping cart for selling various labels, but their visitors were unable to create their own user-supplied signs. The client requested that Axmor .NET programmers develop software that would allow the user to design custom vehicle and lettering signs on flash, provide price calculation based on set parameters, and handle orders.
Software Solution
Specifically for our customer's web site, Axmor .NET programmers developed software tools that help the user generate, preview, and purchase custom lettering and graphic signs.
This software tool helps web site visitors produce custom signs based on the supplied text, and to change formatting and apply specific rendering effects. The user enters his/her own text with the ability of selecting the parameters prefered (including font, background color, effect styles etc). The required image is then generated on flash and displayed on the screen.
Using this tool, web site visitors are able to create custom vinyl signs to be mounted on their personal vehicles. After having selected an image of the particular car from the internal database, the user can lay out his/her vehicle choosing graphic clip arts and lettering available on the site.
Furthermore, the user is able to apply his/her own graphics uploaded as a .jpg file, which makes the design even more personalized.
