Our customer specializes in transitioning paper-based document management to electronic
workflow systems. The demand for this service among clients from various industries
is high.
Our customer provides their clients with a software solution that allows transition
of paper information to electronic format, and enables their customers to search,
filter, sort, and extract electronic information. The solution formerly used by
our customer didn't meet business requirements – their competitors were using more
sophisticated software solutions.
Our customer required a new advanced solution enabling clients to archive, retrieve,
and store documents in electronic format, ensuring effectiveness and security.
Software Solution
Axmor Software delivered a solution that effectively solves the information management
needs for our customer’s clients:
- Information import/ retrieval
Information can be imported to the system in different formats (images, text, etc.).
This system includes custom built-in programs that can be used to automate data
imported to the system from different sources (databases, third party software,
etc).
Information can be stored in a database that allows easy access, easy import of
new information, and backup.
.Net Framework was selected as an ideal platform for the solution, which enables
users to easily search, filter, sort, and extract information. This system, which
has a user-friendly interface, can operate in a distributed environment using .Net
Remoting. Users can access and use the application from different networks.
This system supports user-level security delivered using ASP.Net and ADO.Net. Different
roles may be defined and assigned that grant access to certain functions of the
system while denying access to others.
