Business Challenge
Our customer’s warehouse needed a mobile stock-tracking software solution to follow
its incoming products.
Software Solution
Axmor developers designed an application to track incoming goods using PDAs. Products
are organized by multilevel transporting locations. The software supports the use
of barcode devices, which may be attached to the PDA for on-the-spot barcode scanning.
The Pocket PC application developed using .Net Compact
Framework simplifies the stock count.
Using the developed PDA application, a warehouse stockman receives counts directly
to the handheld. If needed, he/she adds or removes stock items in seconds. Incoming
products are organized in different locations: trucks, bays, and palettes.
Each location and product has its own unique barcode. By using a barcode scanner,
the user can easily select locations and count goods with just the push of a button.
The software supports Flic scanner connected to the PDA via Bluetooth.

- Integration with Desktop Inventory
The developed PDA solution was integrated with our customer’s existing Supply Chain
software solution. The data are exchange in XML documents during the PDA synchronization
process implemented over ActiveSync.
