Business Challenge
Initially, the customer's company kept project data within separate systems, each having a different behavior and
functionality. Each system had its own administration module and people who were responsible for the system management
and maintenance. Project management processes were not fully automated; some operations were performed by the managers manually.
Our customer required a system that would perform and analyze all project-related operations, such as personnel management,
tasks assignment and implementation, requirements gathering, issues reporting and tracking, progress and performance analysis,
etc. The system should be simple in learning and use, highly secure, and easily extendable on customer’s demand.
Software Solution
Axmor's SharePoint developers worked in close connection with the customer's engineers to create a convenient system for the
enterprise-level project management. All needed operations were integrated into a single portal that allows the customer to manage
all project-related processes in a single workplace.
Custom software built by Axmor’s SharePoint programmers includes the following features:
- Resource management
Resources can be assigned to the project, with the resource loading specified. Additional information about the resources can be
added during the project life time. The Issues tracking system uses a Resource management module to assign issues and to send
notifications about the issues statuses.

Tasks management/tracking
The system allows for tasks assignment, monitoring, and analysis. It was designed to interact with all other modules of the software.
Each task is assigned to the resource, covers some part of the project requirements, links up to task-specific issues (if any) with
indication of the issue severity.

Requirements gathering
The system allows for project requirements collecting from the customer. It supports the tracking of requirements, changes to
requirements, and requirements gathering progress monitoring. The Requirements system is connected to the Tasks management system, which
provides the manager with information about what tasks are related to the specified requirement.

Issues tracking
The integrated Issues tracking system allows the customer to create and assign project issues and automatically manage them until resolution.
The system was designed to interact with the Tasks tracking system and the KPI Monitoring systems.

KPI Monitoring/ Reporting
Key performance indicators (KPIs) are instant and cumulative measures of critical metrics of the project operations being performed. KPI Monitoring
module provides the system owners with the savvy means to make smart timely decisions and manage projects proactively.
