Business Challenge
Our customer wanted to go one step further in mobile application development by
offering a product that plays an animation on the screen when the phone rings, thus
satisfying user’s demands.
Software Solution
Axmor Symbian developers built an application for Symbian
mobile phones that displays a personalized screen animation during incoming calls.
This application allows the user to download the product of our customer - animated
videos with ads incorporated into them. Video clips are downloaded along with the
application.
The user can select a contact in his or her phone address book and assign a specific
animated video ringtone to it. When an incoming call is received from the assigned
contact, the animation is played on the mobile phone screen.
Inspired by its success of this Symbian development,
our customer plans to extend the application functionality. In the future, users
will be able to download additional video and audio ringtones to their Symbian mobile
phones.
